About Us

He has worked as a photographer in the Northeast Georgia Community for more than 20 years. James has been an active member of the Georgia Professional Photographers and the Professional Photographers Association of America. He also served as photography instructor for ten years.

 

Selected as the Official Photographer of 1996 Summer Olympics in Athens, Georgia, where he made more than 3,000 pictures of the local Olympic Events. James was selected the official Photographer for the Champion Foundation in 2000. He photographed countless athletes from the Athens Community. In July of 2014, he was called upon to serve as the official photographer for his church’s Kenya, Africa mission team trip. Pictures were of the entire trip totaling more than 4,000.

 

James has been very active in the community of Athens and served on a number boards of social and professional organizations. He served on the Athens Regional Medical Center Board of Directors, Athens Tutorial Program, Past Board President, Former Member of Athens-Clarke School Board, and current Member of the Board of Directors for the Champion Foundations, and a former member of the Athens Clarke County Chamber of Commerce Mentors Program.

 

Educationally, he holds a B.S. Degree-Business Management and a Masters of Education. James has received Certificates of Completion for Weddings, Individual & Family Portraiture, Photo Restoration, Senior Portraits, and the Business of Photography.
